Hattie is co-founder, and runs marketing and participation for Bonnie and The Bonnettes. She is a Somerset born queer theatre maker, performer, and facilitator based in Newcastle. She holds a first class honours in BA Performance and an MA in Theatre and Performance (Northumbria University). As well as regularly performing at a variety of cabaret events, Hattie most enjoys creating work about real people and experience; she aims to be thought provoking as well as humorous - good old fashioned ‘entertainment factor’ is something she wishes to bring to all of her work. Hattie is also a vocalist with a passion for musical theatre, meaning you’ll often hear her singing a well-known tune or three on and off the stage!
Previous work includes; Bonnie and Fanny’s Christmas Spectacular (Lorraine/ Live Theatre), 40 Kola Comedy Rola Round 2 2020 (Alphabetti Theatre), supporting Pixie Lott at the Sunderland Christmas Lights 2018 (Vocalist), Hartlepool Fireworks 2018 (Vocalist) and is a regular performer at the Musical Theatre Cabaret at Prohibition Bar and Northern Stage (Newcastle). Hattie also facilitates in schools for One Day Creative Education, teaches Performing Arts to students aged 4-16 at Razzamataz Theatre Schools (Newcastle), and was also a lead facilitator for Alphabetti Theatre’s Write Something Junior 2019.
