Rebecca is a co-founder of Bonnie and The Bonnettes and manages technical and production for the company. She is a theatre maker and writer from Bradford. She holds a first class honours in BA Scriptwriting and an MA in Theatre and Performance (Northumbria University). Her work is refreshing, funny, and tender. Influenced heavily by politics and sexuality, Rebecca enjoys challenging classic narrative tropes and structures, reworking them to create fresh and politically driven storytelling.

Alongside her work in Bonnie and The Bonnettes, Rebecca is a writer most recently being awarded one of the seed commissions from Live Theatre’s Bursary scheme. She was also commissioned in 2019 by Workie Ticket Theatre Company, and has had shorter pieces performed and supported by Live Theatre, Curious Arts, and Workie Ticket.

Rebecca is also a freelance stage manager specialising in small to mid-scale touring and has toured regionally and nationally with several productions since graduating in 2017. Most recent credits include: Love From (2020, Dir. Ali Pritchard), W*NK BUDDIES (2020, Dir. Melanie Rashbrooke), WOLF (2019, Dir. Brad McCormick), and Tensile Strength (2019, Dir. Dan Bye).
